May/June 2008

Hi Folks,
A warm welcome to my website."The Ladies From Hell" CD had an official launch at Edinburgh Castle on the 28th March,i shall be posting up some pics of the launch on the website very shortly.

The CD "single" is a limited edition,so i would advise anybody who wishes to purchase one,to click on to the order page if they wish a CD,there is not that many left, and with it's unique graphics it is an ideal gift/present for serving or ex "jocks",as a reminder of the old regiments before the amalgamation, and also,by purchasing the CD you will be helping two very worthy causes, namely "Combat Stress",and "The Royal Regiment Benevolent Fund"...

As previously mentioned i shall be releasing a new album towards the end of the summer of 2008. The title of the album will be "The Terry Moore Scottish Songbook",and will feature 11 songs...written by your's truely. The songs will not be your usual "Scottish Type" songs, nothing against those kinda songs but i decided to write songs with a Scottish Theme and story,as opposed to the "kilts, heather,& hills..There are plenty songs going about with those themes, so i have decided to write something a wee bit different, tho, mindful of our history and heritage.

Of the 11 songs on the album,4 will feature the pipes & drums of "The Royal Regiment of Scotland"..."Fly With The Golden Eagle","The Glory of The Clyde" "Scotland I Love You" & of course "The Ladies From Hell". I have been very lucky to have secured  some great vocalists on the album to share my songs with you I decided to feature different vocalists along with myself,to give the listener a varation of voices, and of course it was in a way, a sort of personal challenge to write songs for other singers as well.We are going into the studio to record the first batch of these songs over 4 days at the end of May,then i am off on holiday in June, and we shall record the rest of the album in the middle of July, ready for release in late summer/autumn.I shall be posting up sound/clips of the songs on the website, and probably some video clips on YouTube as well,to give you a taste of the songs.

To all my friends wherever you may be, may i wish you all a nice summer, and please check back towards the end of July, for the latest gossip from the village, and updates on the songs& album...
Jocks

Your's Aye,
Terry
